WebMay 8, 2024 · After that my system loads SDDM infinitely. If I remove both xorg.conf and 20-nvidia.conf it will load normally into SDDM. I am using zen-5.0.13 kernel and Bumblebee for intel/nvidia support if that helps in any way. I will be happy to provide any additional details. Running lightdm --test-mode --debug, it is revealed that the display server was stopped because “no sessions require it”. Just below that: “greeter display server failed to start”. I threw some preexisting solutions I found on google (not really google) at the problem with no effect.
