WebJun 19, 2024 · At age of 65, your basic life insurance coverage converts to a benefit under the Canada Post Paid Death Benefit plan. This benefit is $10,000 and is fully paid by Canada Post. Also at 65, your basic life insurance is reduced by 10% per year. As your coverage decreases, your premiums will decrease. WebCUPW Optional Life Insurance Coverage for Members is available in units of $25,000 to a maximum of $250,000. Your spouse can also be covered to a maximum of $250,000. Plus, you can receive up to $250,000 of accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
